Will U B Mine?

I have to admit this is my favorite day of the year.

It started from the time I was a little girl when my Father would always bring me a huge valentine shaped box of chocolates and at least one other surprise gift especially wrapped for this special day.

Valentine’s day date ideas for mature single women is one of my favorite subjects.

I believe that it would be hard to find a female that doesn’t love the romantic emphasis of February 14th.

So why not make it special and really get into the spirit of this day.

Let’s look at some creative Valentines Day ideas.

A great idea is to celebrate at home. This works best if you have been dating a special guy for at least two to three months.

Here are 3 steps that are guaranteed to create the setting for romance at its best.

Step # 1
Decorate your home. This time of the year the stores are overflowing with gorgeous decorations to help you create the perfect setting. You may find some beautiful red bows, heart shaped cupids and of course beautiful flower arrangements. And don’t forget the scented candles that you can place around your home.

Step # 2
Next you will want to decide on a special dinner menu. Go online to find interesting recipes for Valentines day. Fondue can be a sexy dinner in that it takes time and is interactive as you cook your food at the table. You could prepare his food and he could prepare yours as you feed each other one morsel at a time.

Or if you are more of a gourmet cook you may want something exotic. But remember the most important part of this dinner is the dessert. That is where you want something chocolate and out of the ordinary. A nice bottle of wine and you are ready for love.

Step # 3
And lastly to add to your enjoyment of “V Day” think about what you are going to wear. The key is making sure your outfit is ultra feminine both in color and style. Accessorize with sexy open toed shoes and delicate jewelry. Plus see how creative you can get with your hair style.

Even if you just put some sparkly sprinkles in your hair the evening will seem more exciting.

Now if you have only been dating a guy a few times and he asks you out then you need to let him take the lead.

However you could suggest that he come to your home for a glass of wine and a special appetizer for starters. That may or may not work depending on whether you have children at home and also how comfortable you feel with inviting this guy to your home. Don’t get so starry eyed over this dreamy day that you don’t use common sense.

Here is something important to remember:

If you have not been dating each other for at least three months then it is best to keep your gift giving simple. There are a lot of creative Valentines day gifts that would be appropriate. As an example a fun card with some heart shaped candy sprinkled in the envelope is perfect. Or you could make a creative card. If you like to bake then make some brownies and wrap them in foil with a red ribbon.

Use your imagination and keep the gift low key.

I hope these Valentines Day date Ideas for senior single women has helped spark your creative side of how to get the most out of this special day.

Open your “heart” on Valentines Day to those you love!

Wow! I like these ideas. It shows that you can do a little sprucing up of normal things without spending loads of money on the now-commercialized Valentines Day. The sprinkles in the hair, getting done up for him and the dinner are really great ideas…

Thanks Christina for stopping by. I must confess that Valentines Day is my favorite day of the year. It started when I was a little girl and my dad would come home from work with a heart shaped box full of chocolate candy, a stuffed animal with a big red bow and a bouquet of red roses. When I became a teenager it was a real challenge for my boyfriends to figure out how to meet my expectation on ‘V’ Day

Now my husband is the one that carries on this tradition for me and is willing to spoil me on my special day. Although I must admit that I always remind him in advance of February 14th of what my dad did, just on the chance that he might forget. And no, he’s never forgotten
